New Super Smash Brothers for Wii U and 3DS!!!!!!!

Ok in the E3 2011 they announced a LOT of new Nintendo stuff. One included a Wii U, which is the new Nintendo console. Basically it's a controller with the screen on it, so you can either play on a TV or on your handheld controller. I think that it is a great concept.

They also announced a NEW SUPER SMASH BROTHERS game that's coming to both the Wii U and the 3DS!! I have high hopes for this game

super smash bros n64 01 New Super Smash Bros. coming to 3DS and Wii UWhile rather brief, some of the most exciting game news at Nintendo’s press conference this morning was the announcement of a new Super Smash Bros. for both the 3DS and the Wii U. No concrete details, about the game, were revealed outside of its existence.

Many gamers, both Nintendo and non-Nintendo, have been begging and pleading for a handheld Super Smash Bros. since the series was started back in 1999. Handhelds seemed like the perfect platform for an arcade fighting game, especially with increasingly convenient forms of multiplayer interaction. With increasingly powerful graphics on the subsequent handhelds, it was only a matter of time before this announcement came. This will likely be a major selling point for both the 3DS and Wii U, since most people can agree: you can’t have too much Super Smash Bros.

With no real information known about the game, it’s difficult to predict what features it will have. It will likely stay traditional to the series, while having increased forms of connectivity for multiplayer. It’s safe to say that online play will be present in both versions. Additionally, there’s one quote of interest from Miyamoto when revealing the game:"

The next Smash game is probably only going to come out when I'm done with college or something though.
